US Open 2010 Results
Tuesday, July 20th, 2010For the first time ever, Austin Crain and I performed a Team Sync form. We won 1st place! We finished making-up the form the Thursday night before the tournament and spent about 5 hours creating the routine and actual practicing it. Once we get clearance from ESPN2 there will be footage on YouTube. In addition, I performed in the night of champions for Forms and Weapons. You can also see me judging the XMA Trick Challenge!
My students, Sammy Smith and Danny Etkin did a great job at the tournament as well! They both won the NASKA Forms Grand’s at the US Open. Then they both earned a spot on the Night of Champions stage to compete for the ISKA world title. Nikki Stanley also got the opportunity to compete at the Night show. Can’t wait for the ESPN2 footage to air!

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010Recently, I performed at the MAIA Super Show. The show included performers in silk acrobats, break dancers and martial artists. The martial artists performers were: Kim Do, Nikki Stanley, Austin Crain, Kalman Csoka, Mackensi Emory, Andrew Franklin, Tahna Dow, Marc Canonizado, Caitlin Dechelle and Anthony Gooch. Production and choreography behind the demo was electrifying. Can’t wait for the footage to come out!

Monday, June 21st, 2010At the bluegrass Nationals I won the grand championship with my creative form. Yes a creative form can beat an Extreme form! Shout out to Marcel Jones. I think he is the last and possibly only other person to win overall grand’s with a creative form.
