Twin Towers, Capitol Classics & Tahiti Posted on Sep 26, 2007 - 2:04PM The last few weeks have been very exciting! Three weekends of karate back to back. It started with Twin Towers Classic where I won three first places in Extreme Weapons, Extreme Forms and Creative Forms. Then I had one week before I would have to compete at the U.S. Capitol Classics. At the Classics, I took another two first places in Extreme Weapons and Extreme Forms. Unfortunately, I was unable to compete in Creative Forms division during the day and the Night Time Show. My flight left early Saturday morning where I headed home to pack my bags, once more, for an early Sunday morning flight to Tahiti. Paradise or as Marcel Jones called it, Heaven! Team America brought to Tahiti by XMA (Extreme Martial Arts) was comprised of Steve Terada, Marcel Jones, Marc Canonizado and Mindy Kelly. Our performances were all over the Island of Tahiti; downtown, local elementary and high schools, clubs and most exciting of all the French Polynesian President’s home. There we performed before the President, his wife and many Senators. The week ended with the Grand Finale CULTURE CHOC I MUA. Tahiti was totally amazing! | ||
